One of my latest feature interviews allowed me to talk a lot about a topic I haven’t had a chance to cover before: ballet. The story was for the New York Post‘s ALEXA fashion special. The subject: Professional ballet dancer Sarah Hay, who is currently the lead in the Starz drama Flesh & Bone, co-created by a former Breaking Bad writer. Oh, and it’s good people—real good.

We talked about how this was her first acting role ever, how true the ballet world in the show is actually depicted, and how she struggled within the dance world herself before rising to the top.
