One of the most moving pieces I’ve worked on lately is this personal story of True Blood star Deborah Ann Woll and her boyfriend, comic E.J. Scott.

As the couple shares in the July 2013 issue of Glamour magazine, E.J. suffers from choroideremia, or CHM, a rare genetic disease that causes blindness. And I got to sit down with them both as they shared their story. They are both wonderful, warm and funny people who are dealing with this the best way they know how.
