She didn’t tell me this. But after chatting with her for the cover of the August issue of Glamour, it became pretty clear that she has something in her that the rest of us don’t: Pure, unadulterated, abnormally easy and thoroughly inspiring confidence.

She likes to wear what she wants (despite warnings about red carpet Don’ts), celebrate her marriage the way she wants (usually in costume while renewing her vows) and dance her bootie off on the set (whether the camera is shooting her or not). All in all, she is one fun, smart, fearless woman.

I’m trying to take a lesson from her. Maybe reading the story, you can, too. Because I think the confidence gene is contagious.
